The Amsterdam festival is shaping up nicely with a further 24 names announced.
Having enjoyed a successful launch year last year, Dekmantel founders Thomas Martojo and Casper Tielrooij last month revealed plans for an expanded festival at the start of August, touching down in the same forest location outside of Amsterdam, but adding an extra day to proceedings. With that announcement came a first round of impressive names with festival-pleasing acts like Jamie xx, Mount Kimbie, Daphni, Nicholas Jaar and Jackmaster & Oneman confirmed alongside Detroit supergroup Three Chairs, Berghain talent Rødhåd, the Hessle Audio crew and local acts Juju & Jordash, Makam and the good doctor San Proper.
Today, Dekmantel have rolled out details of a further 24 additions, and it’s evident this blend of headline acts, underground concerns and Amsterdam representation will run through the festival’s weekend programme. Jeff Mills and a Surgeon solo DJ set are naturally the headline draws, whilst the already confirmed Ostgut Ton showcase looks to take shape with a bunch of back to back sets from the likes of Dettmann, Klock, Steffi, Answer Code Request, Marcel Fengler and more. Wild Oats boss Kyle Hall has also been confirned for a Fundamentals B2B set with Jay Daniel, whilst Juno Plus favourites Young Marco and Mark Du Mosch add some local pedigree.
Weekend tickets for Dekmantel Festival are still available, whilst single day tickets will become available on Wednesday April 9 at noon via the official festival website, which also has a handy rough daily schedule.
Dekmantel Festival takes place at Amsterdam Bos on August 1-3.
